Roberto Cavalli Nero Assoluto

Roberto Cavalli Nero Assoluto

Here’s what you’re competing for in today’s Fragrance Giveaway:  Roberto Cavalli Nero Assoluto EDP

Roberto Cavalli, the Italian designer known for his smouldering, animal-print looks, launches a new scent for these cool dark-dressing months. Appropriately, it’s a decadent spritz, velvety and mysterious, but more quiet-sexy than in-your-face forward.

This new Roberto Cavalli Nero Assoluto, is a follow-up to the original Roberto Cavalli Eau de Parfum launched last year. Master perfumer Louise Turner reimagined the perfume’s spicier Oriental predecessor to create a smooth woody floral. Melding together orchid accord with black vanilla and warm ebony wood, this scent possesses depth yet femininity, with a soft powdery essence in the drydown.

Deborah Fulsang has spent the last two decades as a journalist covering news and trends in the worlds of style—in fashion and beauty, design and décor, food and entertaining. Her long-held love of fragrance led her to launch The Whale & The Rose, a destination for all things perfume-related. Now, when she indulges in a crazy-expensive bottle of fragrance, she can do so guilt-free. Well almost. It’s all in the name of research after all.
