Perfumes launching in March
This month features a few familiar names and something new from classic brands—here are the perfumes launching in March.
This month you’ll find new fragrances from big names including Guerlain, Dior and Jo Malone. But don’t forget about the pillar updates from Kenzo and Prada—you’ll want to add them to your summer perfume rotation.
Jo Malone London The Bloomsbury Set
We’ve come to anticipate the collections from Jo Malone with excitement. Last year’s The Herb Garden was a lovely savoury ode to spring, and this year we’re excited to get our hands on The Bloomsbury Set. As you might have guessed The Bloomsbury Set (the fragrances) were inspired by The Bloomsbury Set (the writers). The club included Virginia Woolf, John Maynard Keynes, E. M. Forster and Lytton Strachey, and they worked together in the early 20th Century. The perfumes count five in total—one inspired by each writer—and include Whisky & Cedarwood, Blue Hyacinth, Tobacco & Mandarin, Leather & Artemisia and Garden Lilies.

Guerlain Mon Guerlain
If you haven’t heard, Angelina Jolie is the face of this new perfume from the acclaimed French fragrance house. (Watch the stunning film here.) But, here’s what you need to know about the scent. The two notes to dig into are the vanilla and lavendar—the sweet touch to such an aromatic note is lovely. You’ll also find iris, jasmine and sandalwood which adds depth and femininity. Developed by in-house perfumer Thierry Wasser, with Delphine Jelk, the perfume is said to embody modern femininity.

Prada Luna Rossa Eau Sport
Next up in the Luna Rossa pillar from Prada, we have Prada Luna Rossa Eau Sport (not to be confused with Prada Luna Rossa Sport from 2015). The new iteration promises a warmer Eau than other sportier scents with the addition of amber. You’ll find the other familiar notes here too—bergamot, lavender, ginger—as well as cedrat and cedarwood. If you like Prada’s other masculine offerings, you’ll like this.

Flower by Kenzo Eau de Lumiere
Flower by Kenzo is reinvented again with the new Eau de Lumiere. The light and bright floral scent gets a touch of the sensual with white musk and honey at the base, and vibrancy at the top with bergamot and pear. The heart remains the familiar rose and jasmine. As always the bottle is stunningly architectural, featuring the poppy motif and gold detailing.
