Perfume Illustrations by Magali Braud

By Alexandra Donaldson

Here at TWTR, we love things that look as good as they smell—which is why we’re always excited to see a great beauty illustration. Although we’ve seen many dreamy watercolours of perfume bottles, these illustrations by Magali Braud are detailed and almost mathematical in their composition—perhaps a nod to the scientific process behind fragrance creation. Braud’s drawings remind us that as beautiful as many flacons are, they also have a practical purpose that needs to be fulfilled.

See all of Magali Braud’s perfume bottle sketches here, and don’t forget to take a look at the rest of her site for more interesting design work.

She has yet to nail down her favourite perfume, but knows that it smells green, earthy and maybe a little bit spicy, but definitely not sweet.
