This is the production cost (in US dollars) for a 4-minute commercial for Chanel No. 5 that was created in 2004. The multi-million dollar short film, produced by Australian director Baz Luhrmann, featured Nicole Kidman being chased by paparazzi, while wearing couture outfits from Karl Lagerfeld, accompanied by a soundtrack by the classical powerhouse Claude Debussy. According to reports, Kidman was awarded $3.7 million for her feature role in the fragrance flick.—Erin Richardson
