Celebrity yoga teacher Nadia Narain launches Lua perfume

Worlds constantly collide in the perfume universe. Film, celebrity, science—they all play a part in this scented experience. And now we can add yoga to that list. Yoga teacher to the stars Nadia Narain (her client list includes Kate Moss) has launched her own fragrance after the success of her scented candles.

As reported by Vogue UK, yogi’s perfume is rose-based with geranium, blood orange, sandalwood and palo santo making for what we can only assume is a lovely light and earthy scent and ideal for the relaxing, dog days of summer. “Lua is sacred and loving; joyful and sensual; grounded and compassionate,” Narain says.

The oil-based perfume, named Lua (meaning moon), is made entirely of natural ingredients. Created with the help of aromatherapist Michelle Rocque O’Neil, the scent has, according to an interview with Country & Town House, been in the works for two years.

Look for Gray Sorrenti, daughter of famous photographer Mario Sorrenti, as the face of this new fragrance.

She has yet to nail down her favourite perfume, but knows that it smells green, earthy and maybe a little bit spicy, but definitely not sweet.
