Johnny Depp for Dior Fragrance

Not only did we find out today that Johnny Depp is slated to be the next face of Christian Dior men’s fragrance, but the brand announced that it will also be revealing a brand new scent. The scent will be created by François Demachy—fyi, Demachy also crafted Dior’s Aqua Fahrenheit, Dior’s Cuir Cannage and a slew of other Dior Addict spritzes as well as countless perfumes for Fendi, Givenchy and more. Alas, we know little else about this new men’s fragrance addition to the house of Dior other than that it will be fronted by Depp.

This is Depp’s first appearance as the face of a fragrance label. He follows in the footsteps of Robert Pattinson who was the face of Dior Homme and Jude Law who fronted Dior Homme Sport and Dior Homme Intense. Dior obviously likes their men handsome and brooding—and who could blame them?
