Glossier Body Hero Duo: a wow scent with unusual inspiration
Glossier founder Emily Weiss is a trendsetter to keep an eye on, so her just-released body products and their luxe fragrance made us take notice.
When Glossier and Into The Gloss founder Emily Weiss breezed through Toronto in September, it was partially to cut the ribbon on her Glossier pop-up shop on Queen Street West. But the second reason was to launch Glossier new body product range to the Canadian media.
There are plenty of reasons to pick up Glossier’s new body duo (an oil body cleanser and a perfecting cream) for practical reasons, but we have to say, it smells really, really good too.
First, those practical reasons—its skin benefits.
The Daily Oil Wash is made up of seven oils that lifts dirt and grime from your skin. The formula has zero water, so no need to worry about drying out your skin either.
The Daily Perfecting Cream smooths your skin and absorbs super quickly—not to mention it has light-reflecting microparticles that impart a subtle sheen on your just-washed bod.
But now, the scent. Weiss said the fragrance was very important to her, and revealed that she was inspired by “chic French baby products.”
We’re sold.
To elaborate, the scent is a blend of neroli and orange blossom, which smells super luxe. Consider it, and the products, a great addition to our morning shower.
Glossier Body Hero Daily Oil Wash, $22, and Daily Perfecting Cream, $27, www.glossier.com ($44 for both)
