Crate & Barrel debuts scented candle lineup

Crate & Barrel debuts scented candle lineup

The retailer’s new scented candle collection offers top-notch fragrances to suit every taste and mood. Plus a-buck-an-hour value!

Come spring, we fling our windows open as soon as the mercury climbs into the double digits and the sun shines, hoping tht the breeze will refresh the dark inner recesses of our homes that have become stale over the winter. Sometimes, however, it takes more than a breeze to rejuvenate our spaces. Luckily, Crate & Barrel has decided to help with its new soy-based, scented candle collection.

A scented candle collection ranging from the fresh and clean to the dark and moody

The lineup includes a dozen great scents to please all tastes—and moods. How about Grapefruit & Basil to inspire some spring cleaning? Or something richer, such as Verbena & Oakmoss, for weekend-brunch entertaining? There’s also upbeat Spearmint & Sugar to buoy you even when the weather isn’t quite as spring-like as you were hoping. And there are other fragrances equally appealing: Tabac & Leather seems tailormade for a night in, while Eucalyptus & Violet suits a chic powder room. And well, Persimmon & White Tea, Peony & Lotus, Patchouli & Linen, Cinnamon & Amber, Gardenia & Fig, and Tangerine & Vanilla, all have great potential to perfume your favourite rooms.

Great fragrance value at a buck an hour

Besides sophisticated scents, the candles give good burn value too—30 hours for $30. For that price, you might even justify one for each room—or need—in your house. Maybe for the patio too.
