You’re The One That I Want, Chanel N°5 film

By Alexandra Donaldson

Chanel N°5, nearly a century old, continually evolves—at least when it comes to advertising. The latest short film (for it is hardly just a commercial), starring Giselle Bündchen and directed by Baz Luhrmann, was released in October 2014 and we’re still thinking about it. It’s possible the promise of warmer weather has us playing Lo-Fang’s version of “You’re The One That I Want” (of Grease fame) on repeat, but the entire film has us dreaming of summer.

Athletic days by the beach, time spent with the kids, a killer career, nights out on the town, a bit of a love story and romance—the Chanel N°5 woman really does have it all.
