Bottega Veneta Pour Homme

Bottega Veneta Pour Homme

Here’s what you’re competing for in today’s Fragrance Giveaway:  Bottega Veneta Pour Homme EDT

Imagine the warmth and spiciness of a crackling fire with the smoothness of buttery leather and aged brandy. That is Bottega Veneta Pour Homme. The perfumer duo Daniela Andrier and Antoine Maisondieu created this multi-faceted scent: a masculine woody aromatic toilette.

The scent opens with an outdoorsy freshness via bergamot and Siberian pine. The heart, composed of Jamaican pimento, Canadian fir balsam and clary sage lend the juice spiciness. The base of patchouli, leather accord and Andalusian Labdanum (a derivation of myrrh) supplies a warm, almost sweet, trail.

It’s a classic-with-a-twist scent that suits a similar individual, who is not only robust and complex, but ultimately elegant and understated.

Her long-held love of fragrance led her to launch The Whale & The Rose, a destination for all things perfume-related. Now, when she indulges in a crazy-expensive bottle of fragrance, she can do so guilt-free. Well almost. It’s all in the name of research after all.
