The premiere Miu Miu perfume

Any fashion label worth its design salt must have a perfume. That goes without saying. The latest is from Miu Miu (pronounced mew mew), younger sister brand to Prada.

The Miu Miu perfume, which is set to debut this September, centres around a white floral heart. Perfumer Daniela Andrier (the nose behind Maison Margiela Untitled, Bottega Veneta Knot and Prada Luna Rossa) started with lily of the valley, rose absolute and green notes, before adding akigalawood—an extract of patchouli. This earthy and floral juice with on-trend greenness promises to be simultaneously contemporary and timeless, very Miu Miu.

Miu-Miu-Bottle-ShotWe’re already won over by the perfume packaging. The fun flacon features an opaque pale blue bottle with a red, white and gold stopper. It’s a modern flask with a retro deco vibe. We imagine it accessorizing the hippest and chicest dressing table.

Expect to see Miu Miu cover girl Stacy Martin in the perfume ads clad in a party dress from the brand to perfectly complement the stunning bottle—along with a feline costar to carry on the cheeky brand positioning.
