VALENTINA

VALENTINA

From Emma Watson and Kate Bosworth, to Rose McGowan and Sarah Jessica Parker: These are the women of style who wear Valentino.

No wonder the couturier’s new fragrance, Valentina, aims to be elegant and feminine, unique and daring too.

To bottle the Valentina essence, perfumers Olivier Cresp and Alberto Morillas concocted a floral laced with oriental notes: cedar and amber lending depth to jasmine, tuberose, orange blossom and wild strawberries. The inspired use of white truffle also brings an earthiness to the scent, a touch of grownup experience to counter the sweetness and prettiness at the core of Valentina’s olfactory mix.

Valentina’s couture-inspired flacon—sculpted fabric rosettes wink at the Parisian atelier roots of the brand—provides yet another reason to sample or collect this new floral-with-a-twist.

Now, when she indulges in a crazy-expensive bottle of fragrance, she can do so guilt-free. Well almost. It’s all in the name of research after all.
