Robert Cavalli Just Cavalli for Him

Robert Cavalli Just Cavalli for Him

Here’s what you’re competing for in today’s Giveaway:

Roberto Cavalli Just Cavalli for Him. After the launch of the flirty and feminine Just Cavalli women’s fragrance earlier this year, the Roberto Cavalli house is now launching its male counterpart. Just Cavalli for Him, a fresh-meets-leather-and-wood spritz, plays on the snake-bite “love bite” idea that the brand initiated with the women’s launch. The concept: By wearing the Just Cavalli scent, you wear the mark or the bite of Just Cavalli and you’ve choosen to belong to a certain Cavalli-defined tribe that celebrates the urban, the sensual and the mysterious.

Not to be confused with Just Cavalli Him, launched in 2004, this particular juice is refreshing, but woody, spicy and warm at the same time. Notes of wild pimento, vetiver wood and leather make this scent more alluring than the playful and upbeat female version. It’s actually quite a classic-smelling fragrance with a modern crispness.

Fronting the scent is Brazilian model Marlon Texeira (you may remember him as the hunky guy pursuing Georgia May Jagger in the Just Cavalli women’s fragrance commercial). Hard to argue that Texeira doesn’t fully embody the masculinity and sexiness that is the scent’s raison d’etre.

Deborah Fulsang has spent the last two decades as a journalist covering news and trends in the worlds of style—in fashion and beauty, design and décor, food and entertaining. Her long-held love of fragrance led her to launch The Whale & The Rose, a destination for all things perfume-related. Now, when she indulges in a crazy-expensive bottle of fragrance, she can do so guilt-free. Well almost. It’s all in the name of research after all.
