New perfumes launching in July
A 10-year celebration, something blue from a favourite brand and something fresh from another: These are the perfumes launching in July
The latest fragrances from John Varvatos and Jimmy Choo will have you pumped to pick up a new summer scent. Aquatic, fresh and aromatic notes are what we have on the brain for when summer (finally) kicks into gear and hot, humid weather is the norm. Plus, Marc Jacobs is celebrating a decade of Daisy with a new bottle of his classic perfume.
Here, a few more details on a few of our favourite perfumes launching this month.
Jimmy Choo Man Ice
The new fragrance from Jimmy Choo is fresh and aromatic. Notes of citrus (here’s mandarin again), vetiver, patchouli, apple and moss combine for a laundry-fresh type of fragrance. Perfect for summer days when you need a little something, but don’t want to make too much of a statement. $95 (100 ml), www.thebay.com
John Varvatos Artisan Blu
John Varvatos adds to its fragrance roster with this fresh, spicy and zesty scent that is a take on the brand’s Artisan spritz—which leans more citrus btw. Notes of bitter orange, lavender, basil, iris, orange blossom, patchouli, cedarwood, pine and pistachio mingle in this refined and fresh scent. $110 (125 ml), www.nordstrom.com
Marc Jacobs Daisy Limited Edition
As soon as we heard that Kaia Gerber was the new face of Marc Jacobs Daisy (and after we saw pictures of that awesome launch party), we new that a new bottle must be on its way. Celebrating 10 years, this popular eau is now available for a limited time in a white bottle with gold accents. But don’t worry—your favourite feminine fragrance (with notes of violet, jasmine, berries and sandalwood) remains the same. $118 (50 ml), www.shoppersdrugmart.ca
