Kaia Gerber hosts the Marc Jacobs Daisy party

In honour of the new scent, brand ambassador Kaia Gerber hosted the March Jacobs Daisy party in Los Angeles.

Back when we announced that Cindy Crawford progeny, Kaia Gerber, was the new face of Marc Jacobs Daisy we were pretty excited. Those stunning images! A new generation of whimsical Daisy ads! And it seems we were right to be pumped. If the L.A. party that Gerber hosted last week is any indication, this scent—and it’s marketing—are going to be a lot of carefree fun.

We’ve got serious FOMO about this Marc Jacobs Daisy party.

Kaia hosted the event, wearing a Marc Jacobs ensemble and the new fragrance, naturally. The exclusive and private event was attended by many familiar celebrity faces from the beauty, entertainment and fashion world, including models Sofia Mechetner, Dilia Martins, and Presley Gerber (Kaia’s brother); actors Juno Temple, Madeline Brewer, Amanda de Cadenet and Will Peltz; and dancers Maddie Ziegler and Larsen Thompson. It also featured a couple of envy-worthy moments. That decked-out-in-flowers car! The stunning pool and incredible guest list.

Meet Kaia Gerber

It’s no surprise that Gerber has found herself modelling. Her Mom is household-name Cindy Crawford and the resemblance is uncanny. Since joining the modelling world in 2016, Kaia has made a name for herself, modelling for Teen Vogue, Chrome Hearts, Alexander Wang and Miu Miu. Not so shabby.

Marc Jacobs Daisy

Though the formula of this popular scent won’t change with the new campaign, Gerber fits right in the MJ Daisy aesthetic. The fragrance, launched in 2007, includes notes of wild berries, white violet, jasmine, and sandalwood. The effect? A youthful and vibrant scent, perfect for summer days. Created by master perfumer Alberto Morillas of fragrance house Firmenich, past Marc Jacobs Daisy campaigns have been created by director Sophia Coppola and photographer Juergen Teller.

In the video, Kaia perfectly captures the innocent and carefree vibe of the brand’s signature personality. We have to say, we can’t wait to wear this scent (again) when the weather gets breezy, sunny and beautiful.
