Yves Saint Laurent Opium Vapeurs de Parfum

Yves Saint Laurent Opium Vapeurs de Parfum

Red lips, strong brows, jewel tones: the coming fall season celebrates classic beauty—with a modern twist, of course.

The recent release of Yves Saint Laurent’s Opium Vapeurs de Parfum follows a similar thinking.

The fragrance—a combo of mandarin and pink pepper, orange flower, sambac jasmine and nutmeg, amber wood and vanilla—hints at the powerful oriental trendsetter that set the style world abuzz in the Seventies. It, however, targets a next generation of scent seekers with a lighter, fresher formula that’s still sultry and spicy, but more everyday-wearable than that heady and voluptuous YSL original.
