“The Girl” is Gigi Hadid for Tommy Hilfiger

Gigi Hadid gets cheeky in the latest fragrance campaign for Tommy Hilfiger.

If there was anyone who could take up the moniker “The Girl” right now, it’s Gigi Hadid. The blonde, fresh-faced beauty was announced as brand ambassador for Tommy Hilfiger last year, but this is the first we’ve seen her in a fragrance campaign for the brand. She’s been busy in the meantime—gracing our magazine covers and social media feeds frequently.

The Gigi Hadid video

In the campaign video for this new “The Girl” fragrance spinoff of the original Tommy Girl spritz, which launched 20 years ago, we see Hadid embrace a cheeky attitude as she hangs out with a bunch of hunky sailors who are obviously smitten with her beauty (and brawn). Wearing a navy pea coat and stomping around to a track by Lykke Li, Hadid’s beauty look is au natural—sea-salt sexy hair and glowing skin.

The Girl scent

Though we have yet to smell it, this new perume is reportedly inspired by Gigi’s carefree personality, at least according the Popsugar.com: It packs notes of green pear, violet leaf, fig, jasmine, cedarwood and cashmere. We’re thinking it must be fresh-fruity and a touch wood—not quite nautical, but free-spirited and au courant for sure.
