FREDERIC MALLE PERFUME GUNS

FREDERIC MALLE PERFUME GUNS

So you’re having a dinner party. The menu is set; you’ve chosen your outfit, the flowers, your shoes.

And of course you want to scent your space so that everything about your soiree will be memorable.

For olfactory-obsessed types, look no further than Frederic Malle’s newly launched Perfume Guns home scent sprays. They elevate the notion of air fresheners to a whole new level. And you don’t have to worry about blowing out those candles after midnight when, you might well have overindulged in the pinot grigio.

Originally designed for hotels and large spaces, Malle himself loved his home sprays so much he used them in his own home.

The Perfume Guns take the Frederic Malle perfumes as starting point and then concentrations have been refined to suit the décor-enhancing application.

Choose from:

1er Mai: Perfumer Dominique Ropion’s creation captures the essence of lily of the valley in the lush green underbrush of spring.

Jurassic Flower: Perfume designer Carlos Benaim concocts the olfactory impression of a wild garden laden with flowers, citrus fruits, ripe peaches and apricots.

Rosa Rugosa: Benaim recreates the scent of wild rose bushes growing in the dry cold wind of the Atlantic seaside.

Café Society: Benaim conjures up the beautiful, near-intangible essence of a room at the close of a Parisian dinner—that light; that mood; the memory of indulgences, intimacy and warmth.

Russian Nights: Perfumer Sofia Grojsman’s creation is one that will leave your home scented with a rich, oriental blend of nutmeg, cinnamon, iris and sandalwood notes.

So go ahead, scent your space. Home is, after all, where the heart is.

Deborah Fulsang has spent the last two decades as a journalist covering news and trends in the worlds of style—in fashion and beauty, design and décor, food and entertaining. Her long-held love of fragrance led her to launch The Whale & The Rose, a destination for all things perfume-related. Now, when she indulges in a crazy-expensive bottle of fragrance, she can do so guilt-free. Well almost. It’s all in the name of research after all.
