As with skincare, more and more we’re seeing brands offer natural, organic fragrances to complement a more holistic approach to personal scent. Made up of essential and fragrant oils, this new scent lineup from Intelligent Nutrients delivers feel-good, plant-based perfume at its best.

The new-to-Canada line was the brainchild of the late founder of Aveda, Horst Rechelbacher. While the skincare line is the bread and butter of the brand, it also offers seven “aromatics,” aka perfumes.

Each of the seven scents corresponds to one of your body’s seven chakras as well as encompassing a wellness intention upon application. Of course you can mix and match as you see fit—the intended zones and intentions are purely a jumping off point.

Here is a brief look at the fragrance lineup:

1. Awaken

Awaken is meant to correspond to your roots—your legs, knees and feet. Apply to those regions if you’re after said therapeutic benefits. Notes of lemon, lime, spearmint and black pepper all work to awaken your senses.

2. Seductive

Seductive is meant to invigorate your pleasure centre, and features notes of nutmeg, clove, vanilla and blackberry.

3. Atune

Attune gets in touch with your digestive centre—feel free to massage this scent on your abdomen for a more holistic application. Notes of mint, rose, petitgrain and vanilla offer balance.
