The 12 Days of Christmas, day six

“On the sixth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me…six geese a laying.”

For this, the sixth day of Christmas in our 12 Days of Christmas perfume gift guide series, we were inspired by the egg-shaped bottle of Lady Gaga’s Fame.

Fame, that oriental-floral launched by the provocative entertainer back in 2012, deserves more than its 15 minutes. Despite all of the pre-launch buzz that it contained the essence of various bodily fluids, it’s a lovely spritz, silky and warm with belladonna, orchid, incense, apricot, saffron and honey.

We also quite love the perfume bottle—a black glossy orb with its avian claw of a topper—which we think would slip nicely into a Christmas stocking. Or the nest of a very stylish mother goose for that matter
