Balmain x H&M Perfume

The Balmain x H&M collection heads to stores in November, but we’re holding out for the perfume which comes to Canada December 3rd, 2015.

You’ve seen Kendall and Gigi on his arm, and by now you’ve probably also seen the complete Balmain x H&M collection designed by Olivier Rousteing. The collection itself is full of clothing, accessories, shoes, even a set of headphones—and yes, of course a perfume.

The collection

The collection is glamorous and sharp. Strong silhouettes—a geometric shoulder here, a nipped waist there—are embellished with beading, embroidery, sequins and all manner of attention-getting fabrics. Chunky gold accents, wide textured belts and a flashy set of headphones make this an incredibly detailed collection. Says Rousteing, “I wanted to stay true to the DNA of Balmain: richly detailed, powerful and yet effortless.”

The fragrance

The scent itself includes notes of tonka bean, jasmine, cedar, musk and sandalwood. The white floral and warm, woody base will make for a great winter fragrance and will pair just as well with knits as it does with the glamourous collection it celebrates. The bottle—gold with black in a simple rectangular bottle—echoes the glam strength of the collection.
