Fragrance Giveaway Contest Rules and Regulations

These rules (“Contest Rules”) govern the Nina Ricci Pop Fragrance Giveaway (“Contest”). No purchase is necessary to enter the Contest. The act of entering the Contest constitutes acceptance of the Contest rules and the decisions of the Contest judges, which decisions shall be final and binding upon all entrants.

This Contest is open to all residents of Canada (excluding Quebec), who have reached the age of majority in the province or territory in which they reside. Limit of one (1) entry per person per day during the Contest Period. Entries become the sole property of the Sponsor. Incomplete or illegible entries, bulk drop offs, photocopies, scanned copies, facsimiles or other mechanically or electronically reproduced entries will not be accepted and will be disqualified. No communications will be exchanged with entrants except with those selected for a prize. No purchase necessary. This prize has no cash value.

The Contest begins at 5:00 pm on May 1, 2016, and ends at 5:00 pm June 1, 2016, (the “Contest Period”). To enter the Contest, follow the following rules and instructions to enter during the Contest Period stipulated below.

A selected entrant will be chosen by random draw, which will take place following the contest, during the week of June 7-14, 2016, in the City of Toronto, Ontario, from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The selected entrant will be contacted by telephone or email within seven (7) days of the draw, and must reply within 72 hours to maintain eligibility. If the selected entrant cannot be contacted within this time period or fails to respond to any attempted contact, such potential winner will be disqualified, his/her entry will be declared null and void and The Whale & The Rose reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to select at random another eligible entry, in which event these provisions shall apply to such other eligible entry. Before being declared a winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer, without assistance or mechanical or electronic aid, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question and agree to comply with the Contest Rules; the entrant must also provide a personal statement of approximately 50 words explaining “what fragrance means to me” which they allow The Whale & The Rose to use in any of its communications and in any and all of its media platforms.

There is one (1) prize available to be won by one (1) winner, consisting of one (1) bottle of Nina Ricci Pop (50 ml), with an approximate retail value of $50 CDN.

By participating in this Contest, entrants agree to be bound by these Contest rules, which decisions shall be final and binding upon all entrants. The odds of being selected as a potential winner depend on the number of eligible entries received.

You must tweet using the @TheWhaleTheRose handle, and also the #AskRose hashtag if possible. Entrants must also subscribe to The Whale and The Rose to be eligible to win; and entrants must also follow @TheWhaleTheRose on Twitter to be eligible to win!

Again, in order to claim the contest prize, winners must agree to the Contest rules, answer a skill-testing question, and provide a 50-word statement about “What fragrance means to me”.
